Recap: Elkhart Wildcats vs. Moscow Wildcats
The Elkhart Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 58-30 win over Moscow. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Elkhart has managed all season.
Elkhart's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madyson Brillhart, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Brillhart scored 15 or more points. Isabel Gonzalez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
The win (which was Elkhart's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5. As for Moscow, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkhart will take on Stanton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moscow, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Minneola on February 2nd.
