Hot Springs County's win ends eight-game losing streak at home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheatland, the Hot Springs County Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Glenrock by a score of 46-37. For Hot Springs County, this counts as revenge for the 54-49 defeat Glenrock walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Hot Springs County found their leader in underclassman Kamryn Farrell, who scored 15 points along with eight steals. That's the first time this season that Farrell scored 15 or more points. Jayssie Owsley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.

Hot Springs County's victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Glenrock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Buffalo the next time they take the court. Hot Springs County will host Buffalo at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Glenrock will host them at 3:30 p.m. on January 19, 2024.
