Basketball Recap: Morgantown Has No Trouble Against Grafton

The Morgantown Mohigans strolled past the Grafton Bearcats with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 54-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mohigans.

When it comes to explaining why Grafton lost, don't look at Kenna Keener. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Keener has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Beltner, who posted ten points.

Morgantown has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Grafton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Morgantown will head out to square off against University at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Mohigans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Grafton, they will welcome Nicholas County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
