The Colonial Christian Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Cushman on the road and fell 79-34. Colonial Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.
Colonial Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ari Espinosa, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Colonial Christian's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Cushman, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
Colonial Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cushman, they will square off against Archimedean at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
