Basketball Recap: McCallie Triumphs

While McCallie didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Trinity Shamrocks by a score of 65-53 on Friday. For the Blue Tornado, this counts as revenge for the 69-50 victory the Shamrocks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2016.

The win made it two in a row for McCallie and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coming up, McCallie and Battle Ground Academy will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Trinity, they and Pope John Paul II will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
