Baseball Game Preview: Sultan Turks vs. South Whidbey Falcons

For the second straight game, Sultan will face off against South Whidbey. The Turks will challenge the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sultan has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sultan managed to slip by South Whidbey the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Turks came up short against the Falcons on Monday, falling 14-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Turks have suffered against the Falcons since April 5, 2019.

South Whidbey has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.3 runs. As for Sultan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
