Basketball Game Preview: Justice Wolves vs. Edison Eagles

Justice hasn't had much luck against Edison recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wolves will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Justice has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Justice is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They strolled past Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology with points to spare, taking the game 58-40.

Meanwhile, Edison was able to grind out a solid victory over Falls Church on Monday, taking the game 72-60. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 373rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Justice has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Justice came up short against Edison in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 50-42. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
