Basketball Recap: Rib Lake's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

It was a good run, but Rib Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 57-43 fall against the Marathon Red Raiders. The match marked the Redmen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rib Lake's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Marathon, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Rib Lake will be home for the holidays to greet Prentice at 7:15 p.m. on December 20th. As for Marathon, they are taking a road trip to face off against Colby at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Marathon is facing Colby at the right time seeing as Colby is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
