Caleb Thomas put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Friday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
