Albert Johnson Delivers Electric Performance Vs South-Doyle

Starting off the list is Fulton's Albert Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

South-Doyle had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Johnson it was a similar story. When Johnson last faced the Cherokees back in September of 2023, he rushed for 116 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Javon Moulden Turns in Season-Best Performance

Fulton was led to victory by Javon Moulden, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Moulden threw for 219 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes.

On the season, Moulden has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 138.6 passing yards per game.

A Constellation of Stars for Fulton

Another Fulton player making an appearance on this list is Derrick Smith. He picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Fulton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

If the past is any indication, Smith could be in store for another big game when he takes on Seymour on Friday. When Smith last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he picked up 214 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

South-Doyle is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Smith and South-Doyle will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Halls at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Jake Coffey Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Jake Coffey of Carter. Coffey picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Carter's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4. Coffey's next match is against Gibbs on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
