Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wheeling Central Catholic). They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 48-0 victory over the Catholic Central Crusaders. The Maroon Knights have beaten the Crusaders the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Crusaders has come to flipping the script.

It was another big night for Kade Koroneos, who rushed for 125 yards and three TDs on only nine carries, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and one score. Nico Kusic was another key player, rushing for 39 yards and one touchdown.

Wheeling Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Wheeling Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 41-8 victory against Perry Traditional Academy on the 26th. As for Catholic Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-18 win against Belpre on the 27th.
