Football Recap: Tri County Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Tri County Area was feeling good fresh off their 39-12 takedown of Chippewa Hills last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the Kent City Eagles by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Tri County Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Kent City, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri County Area will head out to take on Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Orioles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Kent City, they will head out on the road to face off against Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
