Despite the defeat, Crossroads Christian Academy got a solid performance out of Cole Tanner, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tanner has scored all season.
Victory Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 66-24 loss at the hands of Bible Baptist Christian. While losing is never fun, Victory Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 570th in Florida, while Bible Baptist Christian is ranked 234th in Georgia).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Nelson Palacios, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Sutherin, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Crossroads Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.1 points per game. As for Victory Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Crossroads Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 61-30 defeat at the hands of Victory Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Crossroads Christian Academy was down 31-10.
