Soccer Recap: Chapel Hill Gets the Win

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Chapel Hill ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Carrollton Trojans. Chapel Hill wouldn't have won without Kristen Green, who scored the game-winner.

The win made it two in a row for Chapel Hill and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two matchups. As for Carrollton, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chapel Hill will face off against Sandy Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carrollton, they will challenge East Coweta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Coweta will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Carrollton surely won't give up without a fight.
