If Marshall wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played O'Connor, they should've done a better job of containing Hagen Hurst. The Panthers blew past the Rams, posting an 80-48 victory with plenty of help from Hurst, who dropped a triple-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. His big performance that morning made it 23 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Benjamin Amaya-Meister was another key player, putting up nine points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 67% in the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Marshall still got an impressive performance from Jason Vidaurri, who posted 16 points along with eight assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was Liam Curry, who had six points and five rebounds.

O'Connor now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Marshall, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-20.

Coincidentally, O'Connor and Marshall will both be playing Holmes the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rams will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
