Soccer Recap: Purnell Swett Takes a Loss

Purnell Swett lost against Lumberton back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. One reason for the loss might be Purnell Swett's aggressive play style: Jacolby Locklear and Braylon Brooks were both handed yellow cards.

Purnell Swett's goal came courtesy of Avry Locklear, who's now up to ten this season.

Purnell Swett now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Lumberton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6-1.
