Hobbs came tearing into Friday's game with 24 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls to the tune of 64-28. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hobbs' victory was their 16th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points over those games.
