Basketball Recap: Maynard Takes a Loss

Maynard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 66-46 to the Earle Bulldogs.

Maynard's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Earle, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Maynard will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hoxie at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Earle will take on Crowley's Ridge Academy in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Crowley's Ridge Academy has won five straight at home, while Earle won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
