Softball Recap: Payson's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After flying high against San Tan Foothills last Wednesday, Payson came back down to earth. Payson fell 7-3 to the Safford Bulldogs on Saturday. The match marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Looking ahead, Payson will head out to challenge Benjamin Franklin at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Safford, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against Blue Ridge on the 22nd.
