Baseball Recap: White Cloud Comes Up Short

White Cloud managed to slip by Lakeview the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 13-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered against the Wildcats since May 14, 2019.

White Cloud saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Zook, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

White Cloud's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lakeview, their record now sits at 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: White Cloud beat the Wildcats by a score of 11-4 later that day.
