Volleyball Recap: DeSoto County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

DeSoto County lost against Lemon Bay back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Manta Rays, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While DeSoto County was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lemon Bay's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 27-25.

Despite the defeat, DeSoto County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chloe Clemons had seven digs and one assist.

DeSoto County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lemon Bay, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

DeSoto County has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against North Port on the 28th. As for Lemon Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Imagine School at North Port on the 27th.
