Baseball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dorman Cavaliers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since April 19, 2024.

Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dorman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

While Boiling Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
