Softball Recap: King's Fork Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King's Fork can now relate to. They came up short against the Menchville Monarchs on Friday, falling 12-2. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

King's Fork's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Menchville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

King's Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menchville, they will take on Granby on Tuesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Monarchs surely won't give up without a fight.
