Baseball Game Preview: Starmount Rams vs. Forbush Falcons

Starmount is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Forbush is on a five-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Starmount Rams will welcome the Forbush Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, Starmount made easy work of Thomasville and carried off a 19-7 victory. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Emmanuel Vasquez tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

Meanwhile, Forbush got the win against Chatham Central on Saturday by a conclusive 8-1. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The victory got Starmount back to even at 1-1. As for Forbush, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Starmount might still be hurting after the 11-0 loss they got from Forbush in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Starmount avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
