It was fun while it lasted, but Harrison's undefeated season came to an end after 16 games on Saturday. They lost 68-42 to the Milford Eagles. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this game were averaging 28.65 points allowed.

When it comes to explaining why Harrison lost, don't look at Alli Robertson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. Abby Smith was another key player, putting up nine points and six assists.

Violet Shuluga continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Milford, going 6 for 8 on her way to 16 points and three steals. Shuluga has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lizzie Fight, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points.

Harrison's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-1. As for Milford, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Harrison and Milford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Harrison will challenge Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 263 places (100 vs. 363). Harrison is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Milford (ranked 26th) will meet Turpin (ranked 546th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
