Hilton Head Prep has gone a perfect 4-0 against First Preparatory Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dolphins will look to defend their home field against the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Hilton Head Prep hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Dolphins never let Thomas Heyward Academy get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Wednesday. The Dolphins haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, First Preparatory Christian Academy got the win against Legacy Christian Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 13-3.

Mitchell Cordero was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and one run. He has become a key player for First Preparatory Christian Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-4 otherwise.

In other batting news, Nayam Ortiz was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Streeper, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

First Preparatory Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .524. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory got First Preparatory Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Hilton Head Prep, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything went Hilton Head Prep's way against First Preparatory Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February, as Hilton Head Prep made off with an 11-0 victory.
