Recap: Wellington School Jaguars vs. Fisher Catholic Irish
The Wellington School Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fisher Catholic. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wellington School in their matchups with Fisher Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.
Wellington School's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Malcolm Wade, who scored 23 points along with three steals, and Skyler Nicholson who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wade has scored all season. Blake Lewis was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Wellington School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Fisher Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellington School will take on KIPP Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fisher Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
