Basketball Game Preview: Northview Titans vs. Tucker Tigers

The Northview Titans will face off against the Tucker Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Northview has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Tucker will arrive with three straight victories.

On Tuesday, Northview took a blow against St. Pius X Catholic, falling 79-42. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 466th, while the Golden Lions are ranked 53rd).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Tucker against Druid Hills on Tuesday as the team secured an 81-20 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Tucker has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.2 points per game. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
