Baseball Recap: Volcano Vista Falls Short Against Ranked Cleveland

Volcano Vista faced Cleveland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Hawks took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Storm: they've now lost six in a row.

Volcano Vista saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alijah Romero, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Noah Massey was another, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Volcano Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Cleveland, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
