Volleyball Recap: Cactus Extends Winning Streak to Four

Cactus came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Dysart Demons as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Cobras have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Demons, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-13.

Laila Long paced Cactus' offense, picking up 11 kills. Long got some help from Addison Martin and her 21 assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Cactus' win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Dysart, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coincidentally, Cactus and Dysart will both be playing Yuma the next time they take the court. The Demons will head out to face the Criminals at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cobras will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
