Recap: Del Sol Dragons vs. Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners
The Del Sol Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southeast Career Tech 80-24 on the road. That looming 80-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Del Sol yet this season.
Todd Fox continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kasire Johnson, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Several Roadrunners players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joseph Grant, who scored six points.
Del Sol's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Southeast Career Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Sol is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Cimarron-Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on January 10th. Cimarron-Memorial presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Del Sol in Nevada (Cimarron-Memorial is ranked 23rd, while Del Sol is ranked 87th). As for Southeast Career Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Desert Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
