Basketball Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Comes Up Short

Brashier Middle College Charter suffered their biggest defeat since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Chesnee Eagles, falling 78-50. The Bengal have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Chesnee to victory were Elijah Brown and Ben Reese. Brown went 9 for 12 en route to 20 points along with seven assists and six rebounds, while Reese posted 23 points and five boards. Reese is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Epps, who had seven points.

Brashier Middle College Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Chesnee, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.
