Soccer Recap: Constantine Takes a Loss

Constantine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish. While losing is never fun, Constantine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Hackett Catholic Prep are ranked 171st).

Constantine's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Constantine will head out to challenge Schoolcraft at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Constantine will be up against Schoolcraft's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lawton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
