Baseball Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

Penfield hit Brighton with a five-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bruins lost 10-1 to the Patriots. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Penfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-15.

Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Penfield, they will challenge Webster Thomas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
