Basketball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland lost against North Eugene back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ashland Grizzlies took a blow against the North Eugene Highlanders, falling 61-30. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ashland's record is now 5-10. As for North Eugene, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ashland will host Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for North Eugene, they will be playing at home against Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Eugene is facing Churchill at the right time seeing as Churchill is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
