Volleyball Recap: Hermiston Comes Up Short

Hermiston saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Village Mountaineers by a score of 2-1.

Hermiston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Village, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Village wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Tucson High Magnet School on the 26th. Hopefully Hermiston paid attention to the Mountaineers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Mountaineers at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
