Volleyball Game Preview: West Carrollton Pirates vs. Xenia Buccaneers

The West Carrollton Pirates are taking a road trip to face off against the Xenia Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Carrollton has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 20.

West Carrollton came up short against Greenville on Monday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-7, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Xenia lost 3-0 to Butler last Monday. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Aviators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Xenia was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-22.

Xenia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for West Carrollton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

West Carrollton suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Xenia in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
