After a string of three wins, Cate's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop Diego Cardinals. The game marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Cate may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Cate's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Bishop Diego, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Coming up, Cate will challenge Palisades at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Diego, they will head out to challenge Dunn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
