Basketball Recap: Desert Christian Eagles vs. Valley Union Blue Devils
Desert Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 57-33 margin over the Valley Union Blue Devils. The Eagles pushed the score to 50-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Devils cut but never quite recovered from.
Desert Christian was led to victory by Tyson Dobbins and Cooper Payne. Dobbins went 9 for 21 en route to 22 points plus six rebounds and four steals, while Payne posted ten points plus seven rebounds and four steals.
