Softball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds vs. Central Cobras

The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds will head out to take on the Central Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Park Academy is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lincoln Park Academy's offense. They came up short against Sebastian River on Tuesday, falling 12-0. Greyhounds fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Sharks since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Central suffered their closest loss since April 11, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Master's Academy by a score of 7-5. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Lincoln Park Academy suffered a grim 26-17 defeat to Central in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Greyhounds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
