Volleyball Game Preview: Parkway Central Colts vs. Eureka Wildcats

Parkway Central is 0-4 against Eureka since May of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Colts will face off against the Wildcats at 5:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Parkway Central has four straight victories, Eureka has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Wednesday, Parkway Central got the win against Ritenour by a conclusive 3-0.

While Parkway Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-22.

Parkway Central relied on the efforts of Spencer Duvall, who had 12 assists and five digs, and Grant Klasing, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Eureka faced Marquette in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Mustangs.

While Eureka ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-17.

Parkway Central's win bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Eureka, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
