Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the East Buchanan Bulldogs. The Fighting Orioles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10.

Concordia's offense was headlined by Aubrey Roepe and Erin Heimsoth, who picked up three kills apiece. Roepe really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven.

Kaylynn Engnes was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and one assist.

Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for East Buchanan, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-3.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Wellington-Napoleon on the 23rd. As for East Buchanan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Butler on the 20th.
