Baseball Recap: Bangor Slaters vs. Palmerton Blue Bombers

Bangor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palmerton Blue Bombers. The Slaters were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Bombers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jacob Labar was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits.
