Soccer Game Preview: Blue Springs vs. Hickman

The Blue Springs Wildcats will challenge the Hickman Kewpies at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Blue Springs will be strutting in after a victory while Hickman will be coming in after a loss.

Blue Springs headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for five straight, but Raymore-Peculiar let them put that streak behind them. The Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for Blue Springs as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Hickman was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to Helias.

Hickman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Blue Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.
