Soccer Game Preview: Brookwood vs. Tuscaloosa County

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Brookwood take on the Tuscaloosa County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Brookwood is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 goals on Monday, they were much more limited against American Christian Academy on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Tuscaloosa County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Pelham by a score of 4-2. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Carolina Alvarez.

Brookwood now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tuscaloosa County, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Brookwood took their victory against Tuscaloosa County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brookwood since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
