Softball Recap: Canandaigua Academy Comes Up Short

Canandaigua Academy's last matchup with Churchville-Chili could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Braves came up short against the Saints, falling 12-3. The Braves were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in May of 2019.

Canandaigua Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Churchville-Chili, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Coming up, Canandaigua Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Spencerport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Churchville-Chili, they are taking a road trip to take on Irondequoit at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Saints are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
