Basketball Game Preview: Motley County Matadors vs. Patton Springs Rangers

The Motley County Matadors will take on the Patton Springs Rangers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Motley County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-41 to Guthrie.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Patton Springs was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were dealt a 70-29 defeat at the hands of Valley. The loss continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost nine in a row.

Motley County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Patton Springs, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Motley County skirted past Patton Springs 42-40 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Motley County repeat their success, or does Patton Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
