Basketball Preview: Cumberland Christian Crusaders vs. Atlantic Christian Cougars

Cumberland Christian is 0-10 against the Cougars since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cumberland Christian Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Atlantic Christian Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Cumberland Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-23, which was the final score in Cumberland Christian's tilt against the Warrior on Friday. Cumberland Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Cumberland Christian's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.8 points per game. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
