Baseball Recap: Wirt County Tigers vs. Clay County Panthers
It was a proper cat-fight when Wirt County faced off against Clay County on Wednesday. The Tigers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
Jakob Moore was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Moore was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
