 Lincoln Southwest and Millard South squared off in some playoff action  on Tuesday, but Lincoln Southwest had to settle for second. They took  a  9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millard South Patriots. Lincoln Southwest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Millard South apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  last Friday.
  Dayton Engelbart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Millard South's side,  Brycen Botos tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit over 4.2 innings pitched. Botos has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Brody Jindra was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.  Jacob Altstadt was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Lincoln Southwest and  nudges their season record down to 19-11. As for Millard South,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 24-10.
 As of now, neither Lincoln Southwest nor Millard South have any future games scheduled.
